Indonesia Constitutional Court to announce ruling on Vice Presidential age limit on 16 October

• The Constitutional Court has scheduled the announcement of their decision regarding the lawsuit to reduce the age limit for presidential and vice presidential candidates on 16 October.
• This gives candidates enough time to make their decision regarding the vice presidential candidate.
• The General Election Commission (KPU) had turned down a proposal to bring forward the registration window and instead chose to compress it to 19 Oct to 25 Oct instead of the proposed window of 10 Oct to 16 Oct.
