Yoon’s approval rating drops to 33%

• President Yoon Suk Yeol’s approval rating has dropped by 4 percentage points to 33%, down from 37% a month earlier, according to a joint survey by Yonhap News Agency and Yonhap News TV.
• The ruling People Power Party (PPP) and the main opposition Democratic Party of Korea (DPK) would secure 31% and 36% of the vote, respectively, if general elections were held tomorrow.
• Defense and diplomacy were key factors in the positive assessment for President Yoon, while economic and livelihood matters influenced the negative assessment.
