Vice President age requirements upheld but exception given to elected officials

• The Constitutional Court (MK) has rejected the request for judicial review of the law requiring the Vice President to be 40 years old.
• However, they made an exception for this requirement for candidates if the person concerned has previously held or is currently holding an elected position.
• Apart from lowering the minimum age, there are some parties that are currently requesting the Constitutional Court to implement a maximum age limit.
