Ruling parties to sign coalition agreement

• Foreign minister and Barisan Nasional secretary-general Zambry Kadir said that the unity government will soon sign a coalition agreement, saying that it was important to ensure a government can serve in office for a full five-year term and also to streamline the pledges in their respective manifestos.
• Economic affairs minister Rafizi Ramli said that the agreement is to ensure there is a common ground in terms of policy that binds all the programmes planned by the political parties involved.
