Pahang exco among 10 who died in Elmina plane crash

• Pahang executive councillor Johari Harun was among the eight people on board the plane that crashed near Elmina, Selangor today.
• Johari, the state local government, environment and green technology executive councillor, was also the Pelangai assemblyman and Bentong Umno chief. He was 53.
• His death was confirmed by Pahang state assembly speaker Sharkar Shamsudin in a Facebook post. “Johari was in the plane that crashed at Elmina, Shah Alam. May God bless his soul. Al-Fatihah,” said Sharkar.
• Earlier, police said 10 people were killed in the aircraft crash, including eight on board the plane.
